What exactly is a "mirror" website?
It's a copy of your existing website built from simple files — no database, no software running behind the scenes, nothing to update. Your visitors see the same design, the same pages, and the same content. What's missing is all the machinery that requires maintenance.
Can you make any website a "mirror" website?
No. Some sites — online stores, membership sites, booking systems, and other specialized platforms — depend on software running behind the scenes and can't be mirrored. We review every site before accepting an order, and if yours isn't a good fit, we'll tell you upfront.
Will my website look different?
No. The goal is an exact visual match. Your colors, fonts, images, layout, and content stay the same. The only thing that changes is what's running behind the scenes.
Do I need to know anything about web design?
No. Unlike WordPress or Wix, you don't need to know anything about maintaining or upgrading websites. If you want to make a simple text change, you send us the new information.
Can I still update my phone number or email address later?
Yes. Simple text changes like a phone number, email address, or business hours can usually be done quickly. Just send us the new details.
What if I need major changes later?
Adding pages, changing images, or substantially rewriting content is a different matter. For that, we recommend keeping a full backup of your original CMS website, which you can use as your editable master. Be aware: re-converting an upgraded website into a new HyprStatic mirror is treated as a new project, and drastic changes may not be re-convertible.
Where will my website be hosted?
You choose your own hosting. HyprStatic websites can run on almost any host, including very inexpensive ones. If you don't already have hosting, we can recommend affordable options.
For a small $75 fee, we can also arrange for a technician to upload the files to replace your existing site or move your website to a different host. (Requires host login credentials)
Q: Do I need to know anything about web design?
What happens if I don't like the mirror?
You don't pay. We build the mirror and host it on a temporary subdomain so you can compare it side-by-side with your current site. If you're not satisfied, you walk away — and we take the demo down.
How long does it take?
Delivery depends on the package: 2 days for Basic, 4 days for Standard, and 8 days for Premium. The review step (where we confirm your site can be mirrored) usually happens within one or two business day.
